The Black Souls Band

Tasteful licks , dynamic grooves, and soulful melodies are the trademarks of the Black Souls music. Their songs feature insightful lyrics and music that both captures and inspires a spectrum of emotions, from the deepest sorrows of lifes pains to the crystalized peaks of mind expanding joy.

Guitarist/vocalist Michael McCormack, Lead Vocalist Casey Yarnall, Lead Guitar player Will Maher, Bassist and vocalist Tim Johnson and Drummer Erik Scattareggia create a chemistry and sound so unique and versatile that to place them in any one genre of music would serve as an injustice to their phenomenal collaborations.

Brought together in late 2006 by what could only be described as a series of serendipitous encounters, The union has progressed into and beyond the initial desire to play music to a deep connection of a spiritual nature. A "new family" of sorts.

By the end of 2007, the band has written over 35 original songs and their music has been heard and enjoyed by thousands of fans, or as the band affectionately refers to as their "Soul Mates".

The Chemistry between band members like all relationships is in a constant state of change and in their case, a changing state of constant progression. Their combined desire for creative originality and the general low opinion held for "sell out" bands is evident in the continuing heights they strive for in their writing and playing.

Drawing from a wide range of creative talents, broad musical experience and diverse backgrounds The Black Souls Band has the perfect mix and versatility to form what has been described as "one heluva rock and roll band".

At present the band has been spending long hours in the recording and practice studio in preparation for booking show dates this spring.
